Unlike other L&F rods, the blank of the NX8 is made using a special Japanese-manufactured carbon that significantly enhances performance, comfort, and durability, while the innovative resins used provide the rod with lightness, responsiveness, and strength. The handle section is crafted with a special carbon weave that counteracts twisting, favoring long casts and precision.
The high-quality cork handle and the aluminum reel seat with a carbon insert complete the rod aesthetically, resulting in a product with truly interesting performance.
Certainly, this fly rod is the right compromise between a standard-length rod and a longer rod. With this model, you will be well equipped to practice many fly fishing techniques, such as dry fly fishing, wet fly fishing, light streamer fishing, and classic nymph fishing. In medium-small streams, you can also successfully practice modern nymph fishing. The extra length compared to the standard allows you to better manage the fly line on the water.
