The Aero Pro feeder rods are sensational. The most advanced feeder rods ever produced by Shimano and probably lighter than all other competitors, the Aero Pro offers uncompromising perfection to those who need it most.
If you are competitive anglers fishing at the highest levels, you already know that every little detail can make a difference. The margin between success and failure is often incredibly small, and this is where Aero Pro becomes so important.
This range is our absolute best. It contains technology never before used on feeder rods and will give you a significant advantage. More precise and longer casts, fishing actions that inspire confidence, a look that will make the competition envious: this feeder range offers uncompromising performance and much more.
Many of Aero Pro's performance advantages come from the technology used. All 4 models are built with Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X carbon, Shimano's best carbon combination, along with Nanopitch technology. Adding a CI4+ reel seat and the latest Fuji K-Type SiC guides results in probably the lightest feeder rod ever produced.
But being the lightest is not everything, especially with feeder rods. Casting performance is even more crucial. With Aero Pro, the combination of exclusive technology reduces blank twist under pressure and minimizes blank ovalization that characterizes most rods. The result is a range of rods that cast with greater accuracy and power. The effort exerted in casting is used with maximum efficiency along the entire rod to generate higher tip speed. And the casting direction remains true to the aimed point.
But there is more. As if the lightness and exceptional casting qualities were not enough, all models come with a set of one-piece tips, with integrated Hi-Power X quivertips. The result is a seamless curve. While this helps casting performance, it becomes truly advantageous when retrieving fish. The curve is flawless and pressure on the tip is smoothly transferred to the rest of the rod, which takes on an almost elastic quality. The result is a more confident fishing action and more fish landed. Aero Pro – for winners who fish without compromise.
