The TX Extreme Spod Marker rod combines lightness with remarkable casting power, allowing you to reach your chosen fishing spot with spod of all sizes. When using a bite indicator float, the sensitivity provides excellent feedback on underwater features.
The TX Extreme Spod Marker is the perfect rod for those who do a lot of spodding, especially at long range. The reduced weight and powerful tip section enable exceptionally high tip speeds during casting and can handle larger spod sizes without being overly stressed.
For marker use, the lightweight blank offers an exceptional feel directly in the hands for accurate underwater obstacle detection, and for precise depth finding, there are depth marker bands on the butt section.
The high-pressure carbon (HPC) blank puts power in your hands and features a 3K carbon wrap up to the fifth guide for increased durability. The casting action is very similar to the Intensity actions of Tribal carp rods, combining extreme power in the lower section with a responsive tip section for faster cast recovery. The result is an excellent combination for your spodding and marking needs.
The addition of ultra-light PacBay CSV Minima rings (braid-safe) truly enhances performance, and you will immediately notice the rod's responsiveness when using a float.
Depending on your preferences, you can choose between two models: 12ft and 13ft. Both are rated with a 5lb test curve and deliver all the power you could desire.
