The Hackle Gauge helps to easily and quickly choose the size of the feather or hook. Simply rotate the feather on the plastic pin and read the appropriate hook size on the curved scale. The graphics clearly indicate hook sizes from 4 to 22, and the scale's coloring allows good visibility with both light and dark feathers. It can be attached directly to the clamp stem and rotated when not in use.
