The TX-2 is Shimano's best-selling carp rod for good reason. With unbeatable value for money, eye-catching performance, and the widest range of models including those with cork handles, nothing offers more distance or better actions for your money.
If you are looking for a new series of carp rods at a competitive price, the TX-2 is for you. With a set of 3 rods costing much less than some high-end single models, the TX-2 combines excellent value, impressive performance, and a cutting-edge look with an unmatched selection. From short Stalker models to Intensity versions for long distance, both with heat-shrink tubing and classic cork handles, the TX-2 range suits everyone.
The high modulus carbon blanks of the TX-2 have a slim profile and are surprisingly light and well balanced. In fact, they feel much better than many rods that cost much more, and in use the progressive action is appreciated. With Intensity models capable of reaching great distances, you can be sure they won't disappoint. The cork handle models add a touch of class for those who prefer a more classic look and will surely attract the attention of nearby anglers. Equipped with elegant Seaguide Zirconia rings and a Shimano custom-designed DPS reel seat, the TX-2 is available in a full range of lengths and powers, including models for special applications such as stalking.
