The Tournament SLR series represents the most advanced evolution in feeder rod design, the result of years of testing and refinements carried out by the best Daiwa engineers in collaboration with some of the most established European competitors. Every detail has been optimized to ensure elite-level performance, offering a perfect balance between casting power, precision, and angler comfort.

Main features:

New American Tackle Ti Forged Air Guides rings

Redesigned handle section

New 13' Power model

One of the most noticeable updates in the new SLR range is the introduction of American Tackle Ti Forged Air rings. Oriented forward to reduce line friction and drastically lower the risk of breakage during powerful casts, these rings are also lighter than previous models. The result is a more responsive tip, smoother rod action, and increased casting distance with greater accuracy.

The handle section has also been completely redesigned. The Fore Grip has been slimmed down to ensure a more natural and precise hold, while the Butt Grip features a new ergonomic shape that fits perfectly in the hand, providing greater control and comfort during long sessions or powerful casts.

Another important update is the new 13’ Power model, created to replace the less requested 14’ version. This model offers greater power while maintaining the ease of use of the standard 13’ rod. It is the ideal tool for long-distance feeder fishing, especially for catching large carp or fishing in fast rivers for barbel.

Whether you are casting in vast still waters or competing at the highest levels, the Tournament SLR offers you a precise, robust, and efficient rod from the very first cast.
