Introducing an updated and improved version of the incredible Horizon X5-S rods, the X5 Black rods use cutting-edge carbon technology for a blank that is stronger, lighter, thinner, and more powerful. They utilize multiple layers of thinner multidirectional carbon fabric with nanofiber technology that are electro-bonded together during the polymerization process. All pressure joints feature additional carbon reinforcement. The X5 Black blanks have superior recovery to enhance casting distance and accuracy while maintaining superb playing action. Now finished with matte black rings and reel seat, complete Japanese heat-shrink tubing, and a comfort EVA handle, these rods are in a class of their own!
