A completely new and expanded premium range of Scope rods, built with 30-ton high modulus carbon blanks and low resin content, featuring a 1k Toray outer weave for exceptional and precise recovery and outstanding play bends in all versions. The Scope OPS blank design has been enhanced using a 45-degree multidirectional fiber reinforcement to reduce twisting and lateral distortion, focusing energy into precise recovery even under heavy loads, improving both casting distance and accuracy. Responding to specialized fishing needs across Europe, both the Scope OPS and Scope rod ranges now also include CG models with ceramic guides. Ceramic guides provide one of the most durable coatings available, preventing wear caused by repeated contact with larger diameter braided lines or snag and shock leader knots. The Scope OPS range includes new 6ft 3.5lb models, the most powerful 6ft rods ever for larger carp. Additional 3.75lb and 4lb test curves in the 9ft and 10ft models offer the power needed for heavier leads in strong currents, to reach extreme distances from a boat, or to cast larger PVA bags or feeders. For anglers hesitant to switch to shorter rods for fear of compromising casting potential, Jermaine Hull cast both the 3.75lb and 4lb Scope OPS models over 190 meters during testing, with these heavier test curves also delivering uncompromised performance for catfish, predators, or sea fishing. Handles are available in Black Duplon, Olive Duplon, and Dark Cork to suit all preferences. Additional CG (Ceramic Guide) 9ft and 10ft 3.5lb models.
