SLX XT 151HGA
The SLX XT is an advanced version of the very popular SLX, one of Shimano's best-selling baitcasting reels. Retaining the features that made the original SLX so popular, the "XT" version is equipped with a state-of-the-art SVS Infinity brake adjustment system. This technology uses an external adjustment dial to optimize casting control, particularly improving performance with lighter lures. If you are looking for a proven baitcasting reel that combines excellent value with advanced technology and performs exceptionally well with lighter lures, the SLX XT is definitely the right choice for you. Maintaining the robustness and power that all SLX models are known for, the SLX XT also features the brilliant SVS Infinity system, allowing quick and precise control adjustment via an external knob. This enables fine-tuning of casting accuracy with unprecedented ease, which is especially important when working with delicate, lightweight lures that require minimal brake pressure. Like all SLX models, the "XT" uses a high-end lightweight aluminum HAGANE body, which is remarkable for a reel in this price range. This offers a significant performance advantage over lower-end reels with composite bodies, as a strong and rigid body works more effectively under pressure. The inclusion of SVS Infinity simplifies casting control by using an external adjustment dial to modify the spool's braking force, making this model particularly useful for light lures. The XT is equipped with an advanced S3D aluminum spool and an additional high-quality ball bearing on the spool shaft, adding further refinement to one of Shimano's most popular baitcasting reel ranges.
