The CROSSCAST 45 SCW QD LD is a mid-range Carp reel equipped with a spool profile 45 mm in length: in this Long Distance (LD) variant, it features a high-capacity spool capable of holding a larger amount of line (530 m for 0.35 mm lines) to meet the needs of anglers who need to reach spots located at great distances. The 45 mm spool also promotes even longer casts and, for greater fishing precision, is equipped with a "High Impact" cushioned line clip. This version of the Crosscast also maintains the SCW winding system: a true technological innovation developed by Daiwa engineers, this slow cross wrap oscillation winding system optimizes line retrieval, positively affecting casting performance. Great security and power are guaranteed by the second-generation Digigear gears and the well-tested 15 kg Quick Drag drag system: switching from free mode to the right brake in a fraction of a second can be crucial when facing large and strong prey.
