The fastest and "easy to pitch" shelter has become even better with the introduction of the phenomenal Tempest RS 200. At the heart of this two-person fishing tent is the famous patented hinge lock, which makes it quick and easy to pitch. Setup times, usability, and functionality are further improved by the patented Rapid Knuckle System, allowing all five main ribs to be locked with a single effortless movement. Simple, secure, and sturdy, setting up the shelter has never been easier. Additional improvements to the Rapid Shelter include an integrated canopy to minimize water ingress inside and around the door. This canopy can be further extended for extra protection with the addition of a skull cap. The back of the shelter has been made flatter compared to its predecessor, achieving an optimal balance between internal space and aerodynamics. It also fits more easily under smaller trees. Airflow through the shelter has been enhanced thanks to adaptive ventilation with six vents (four at the back and two at the front), allowing air to pass even during rain. To stay cooler in summer, the four rear windows can be secured to create shaded areas which, when used in combination with a skull cap, can reduce internal temperatures by several degrees. For excellent storage, there are four internal pockets, two on each side and two at the front. The front pockets feature loops for hanging essentials such as a receiver or jacket for quick exit from the shelter in bad weather.
