The Curado rod range aesthetically matches the Curado Baitcasting reels and has been selected from the Shimano American Black Bass line, where it has proven to deliver exceptional performance with light and medium lures.
The Curado is a modern range of artificial lure fishing rods, specially selected from the Shimano American Bass range. Brilliant for light and medium lures, it will be hard to find better than this mid-priced rod for casting accuracy and power during the fight, especially when paired with the aesthetically coordinated Curado Baitcasting reel.
Available in one-piece or two-piece models, for both Spinning and Baitcasting, the Curado truly exceeds expectations in terms of performance and value, with the one-piece models featuring some of the best actions available.
The secret to the Curado's brilliant casting performance lies in the Full Carbon Hi-Power X carbon blanks. This exclusive Shimano technology, previously used only on our highest specification rods, minimizes blank twist during casting. You will also notice increased action responsiveness when fighting fish in tight environments or among obstacles, where supreme control is required.
Equipped with a super-light Shimano Ci4+ carbon reel seat, selected to fit spinning or baitcasting reels, the Curado also features Fuji Fazlite guides and a two-piece EVA handle. The combination of these components and classy graphics blend perfectly into a rod you will be proud to own and use.
Although this beautiful rod can be used for pike fishing, especially in the more powerful versions, its true value lies in fishing for zander and perch, which are no less challenging than Black bass. Casting a lure precisely near a bridge pier, under an overhanging tree, or just millimeters from a reed bed becomes easy with a Curado. And when a fish is hooked, you can use the rod's full action to gain control and command the situation.
