The renewed GLX BASS series is the tangible proof of our disciplined philosophy of "continuous refinement." With structural updates achieved through a patented blend of high modulus graphite and advanced resin technologies, the GLX BASS series features blanks with improved strength-to-weight ratios, enhanced balance, and heightened sensitivity. Laminated on "stepped blanks" worked with micro-tapers at specific points within the overall taper, G. Loomis engineers isolate and reinforce areas that might fail under load to ensure maximum durability. Beyond industry-leading break resistance, this design innovation also helps fine-tune unique flex patterns for technique-specific actions, including 11 found only in the GLX BASS range. All GLX BASS models are equipped with a series of Fuji K SiC fully tangle-free guides to improve line management and reduce overall weight. Premium cork handles complete the custom CI4+ reel seats designed to amplify the angler's connection to the blank for better bite transmission and all-day comfort. A nod to G. Loomis's beginnings, the GLX BASS series boasts a "modern throwback" aesthetic, exemplifying elegance in simplicity. Designed and built entirely at our Woodland, Washington facility, GLX BASS embodies our relentless drive to forge tournament-ready tools that anglers need to be the best at what they do.
