The Yamashita Eginno Mogumogu Search is an innovative squid jig that uniquely combines artificial + natural bait, significantly increasing the chances of a catch.
The Japanese term “Mogumogu” means “delicacy”: when movement and sound alone are not enough to convince cephalopods like cuttlefish and squids, the effectiveness of natural bait, such as sardine, comes into play, exponentially enhancing its attractive power.
The baiting is simple and quick: just place the bait on the back of the squid jig and secure it with the special elastic band (included in the package).
Once in the water, the action is intuitive and effective: let the bait sink, lift the rod, and retrieve slowly with pauses of 15–20 seconds. The cephalopod’s attack is indicated by the classic “heaviness,” an unmistakable sign of a catch.
