The carbon used is superior, with the module being IM7, a carbon fiber offering the highest performance in terms of stress and response under load. All rods are 4-piece and the blank finish is Gloss Gunmetal (Glossy Gray). A non-ground tip has been introduced for greater resistance to stress, and the guides are thinner than before, both in diameter and thickness. The handles have also been refined to be more ergonomic, and the reel seat is made of ultra-light aluminum.
