This series of rods definitely stands out from the previous ones due to better attention to detail; bindings, reel seats, and guides are completely new. The entire series mounts single-foot guides (except for the stillwater lake models 10'0" #7-8 and switch competition 11'0" #7-8, 11'6" #7-8, where double-foot guides are used for greater wear resistance). The first guide on all models is a Sea Guide in SIC (double-foot on all models except in the stillwater and switch series, where it is single-foot). The handles are all made of natural cork with cork composite inserts at the beginning and end of the handle. In short, this new series is worth trying, weighing, and evaluating before even looking at the price; because they are truly capable of going far beyond the usual prejudices often adopted when making a choice. Certainly surprising from a quality/price point of view!
