With its striking gold aluminum spool with a deep skirt, you can't go wrong with the Baitrunner D reel. If you're looking for durability and power at a mid-range price, this could certainly be the reel for you. Popular among freshwater predator anglers, especially those targeting large catfish, the Baitrunner D also has the strength needed to handle fast saltwater species. The range of sizes and versatile performance make the Baitrunner D a reliable choice for various techniques—from carp to pike and catfish, this is the reel that can take on all challengers.
The power of the Baitrunner D comes from shielded A-RB bearings, a machined aluminum handle, and a very powerful retrieve ratio. Built to Shimano's high standards, the feeling of strength is inspiring. For anglers seeking a secure grip, the larger sizes feature ergonomic handles borrowed from the saltwater reel range, while there are also two additional mid-sized models (6000, 8000) 'EU' with T-shaped handles.
