With its striking gold aluminum spool with a deep skirt, you can't go wrong with the Baitrunner D reel. If you're looking for strength and power at a mid-range price, this could certainly be the reel for you. Popular among freshwater predator anglers, especially those targeting large catfish, the Baitrunner D also has the power needed to handle fast saltwater species. The range of sizes and versatile performance make the Baitrunner D a reliable choice for various techniques, from carp to pike and catfish—this is the reel that can face all challengers.
The power of the Baitrunner D comes from the shielded A-RB bearings, the machined aluminum handle, and the very powerful retrieve ratio. Built to Shimano's high standards, the feeling of strength is inspiring. For anglers seeking a secure grip, the larger sizes feature ergonomic handles taken from the saltwater reel range, while there are also two additional medium-sized models (6000, 8000) 'EU' with T-shaped handles.
