Ultegra XTE and XSE are based on Shimano's best-selling models and are designed to redefine the mid-range Big Pit reel market. They incorporate many of Shimano's key "long cast" technologies, with attractive aesthetics; these reels exceed expectations and are set to become best sellers across Europe.
Only Shimano offers Super Slow Oscillation, a compelling reason to choose Ultegra XTE and XSE. Additionally, these reels are a concentration of Shimano's finest technologies, making them impossible to overlook. These reels will not only help you increase casting distances but are even more powerful during the fight, will last longer, and look great on any rod you pair them with. If you are a carp angler and prefer dark "stealth" colors, choose the XTE; if you are a surf caster or prefer lighter colors, the XSE "silver" will be your ideal choice. Whatever your choice, you can be sure you have made an excellent decision.
Hidden inside the lightweight and rigid CI4+ body of the Ultegra is a selection of Shimano's most advanced technologies. HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP combine with Infinity Drive and Silent Drive to offer exceptional smoothness and light rotation. However, don't be fooled. Put the Ultegra under pressure, and it will deliver all the power you need, and even more. Beyond the technologies it contains, the casting performance of this reel will surely impress.
Super Slow 5 Oscillation ensures smooth line release, minimizing friction and maximizing distances. Other important features are present. Rigid Cast reduces spool vibrations during casting, and the Parallel Body ensures perfect alignment of the line coils between the reel and the rod's first guide. Additionally, the AR-C spool, thanks to its special lip design, almost entirely eliminates any minimal friction. The result is an impressive reel at a very competitive price.
