Although this MADCAT rod has been incredibly popular among catfish anglers in Europe for many years, we somehow found a way to make it even better. Besides a new look, the real distinctive feature is that the two shorter length versions are not split at the middle of the blank, but just above the handle. This makes the blanks effectively one-piece and even more powerful – an achievement some thought was impossible! These spinning rods are light enough to cast lures but powerful enough to properly hook and fight record-sized catfish. Equipped with lightweight, anti-tangle quality guides and a Fuji TVS-TJS double-lock reel seat.
