The Saragosa SW has built an incredible reputation for quality, performance, and reliability since its launch. This mid-priced workhorse takes many of Shimano's best features and makes them available to a wide range of anglers.
If the Stella SW or Twin Power SW reels are out of your price range, the Saragosa is the right choice. Or maybe you want a less expensive backup, or a reel in a different size to give you options. Whatever your motivation, Saragosa is an excellent choice and contains much of the technology found in its more expensive siblings. Available in a wide range of sizes, from the compact 5000 to the massive 25000, there is surely a model that will suit your fishing style, and with Shimano's build quality and advanced technology, a new Saragosa will give you years of service and enjoyment.
The reason Saragosa is so advanced yet relatively affordable is a matter of evolution. While Shimano develops increasingly advanced technology for its high-end models like Stella, slightly older technology is passed down. Take a look at Saragosa's features and you will be more than impressed; in fact, it is almost more advanced than the previous version of Stella! A full range of HAGANE technology, InfinityDrive for greater torque, X-Protect (IPX8) for the best saltwater protection—the list is almost endless. The result is a reel that not only inspires confidence but is a reel you will be proud to use in any situation or condition.
