The Nasci range combines a modern design with Shimano's unrivaled engineering excellence. The monochromatic grey body with subtle chrome accents is an appealing option for anglers seeking a versatile mid-priced reel.
With its latest understated look and affordable price, whether you're looking to upgrade your reel with a mid-range model or need an additional reel for another setup, the Nasci is a great choice. The sleek silhouette of the G Free Body and the understated appearance are exceptionally attractive and certainly belie the price of this well-designed range. In use, you will be equally impressed. The Nasci performs all tasks effortlessly. The lightweight Ci4+ body balances superbly with rods, the rotation is smooth and powerful, and the front drag is responsive and smooth.
Internally, the Nasci features HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP, two of Shimano's key engineering technologies. These combine to deliver smooth and powerful rotation, which is extremely efficient under pressure and will ensure your reel continues to perform at its best almost indefinitely. The addition of the latest Silent Drive technology takes performance to an even higher level with quiet operation. There are 12 models in the range, starting from the ultra-small 500 size designed for lighter fishing, up to the 5000 size featuring an extra-fast retrieve ratio, making it perfect for long-distance fishing with crankbaits. Casting is improved by the combination of a flawless winding system and an AR-C spool, and additional water protection is provided by Coreprotect (IPX4) on the roller and roller bearing. You can pair the Nasci reel with the excellent Nasci fishing rod range for an economical and high-performing combination.
