The Aero is a splendid front drag reel that fits perfectly in the middle of the Aero Match range. It offers versatile performance for those who fish with a float or feeder, equipped with an anti-reverse device and Shimano's leading gear set. The elegant and understated graphics perfectly match the Shimano Aero rod ranges.
If you are an angler who loves bolognese or feeder fishing and want a high-quality reel with excellent performance, the Aero will be the right choice. With a top quality-price ratio in its category, you can choose from three sizes (C3000, 4000, C5000) according to your needs. Featuring super smooth and waterproof drag discs, and an additional anti-reverse function, you can fight fish directly with the drag when using stronger lines, with anti-reverse when using thinner lines, or by combining both.
Inside the understated XT-7 G Free body of the Aero is Shimano's Hagane and X-Ship gear system, enhanced by Silent Drive. This combination is renowned for powerful performance and long-lasting reliability, ensuring your reel maintains peak performance almost indefinitely, even when battling large baitfish or making important weigh-ins in competitions, consistently.
Other standout features include the waterproof and super smooth front drag, the AR-C spool made of cold-forged aluminum to improve casting, and the handle that screws directly into the main gear for a direct "play-free" action. Each model is equipped with a spool capacity reducer, making all models perfect for mono and braided lines, and a round metal line stopper that can be used to achieve precise casting performance.
