Always one of the most appreciated Daiwa reels, the Legalis maintains its winning "recipe," further improving the quality-price ratio: even lighter, smoother, and more precise in operation.
The AIRDRIVE DESIGN construction concept, borrowed from Daiwa's top-range reels and applied to the rotor and bail arm, now allows for a lighter reel that is above all more enjoyable to use while fishing. The rotor-bail system is lighter yet more robust, enabling smoother and more fluid retrieval and better lure control thanks to minimized rotational inertia.
The drag system is also completely new: the ATD-L is the latest evolution of Daiwa's automatic progressive drags (ATD). It now reacts even more smoothly and progressively, reducing mechanical stress on the line.
