The Biocraft XT Fly rods are aimed at fly fishermen who have a limited budget but desire excellent casting performance and features. In addition to the traditional fly fishing styles in streams and still waters, there are also three "Big Bug/Saltwater" predator models and an outstanding nymph model.
If you are a fly fisherman who prefers not to spend a fortune on a single rod, the Biocraft XT rods are for you. There are thousands of anglers like you, which is why we developed the Biocraft XT range. Fully reliable, with a fantastic weight-to-strength ratio, the Biocraft XT comes alive in the hands and can compete with rods costing significantly more. Stream fishermen will appreciate the sensitivity, still water anglers will love the casting performance, and predator or saltwater fishermen will find all the power they need in the Biocraft XT.
Each Biocraft XT rod features a carbon blank enhanced with Biofibre and Diaflash. This combination achieves a fantastic weight-to-strength ratio and adds extra durability in the more powerful models, allowing safe use for large predators and ultra-fast saltwater species.
The rods were designed and tested by the same expert team that worked on the premium Biocraft XR range, so, as expected, there are notes of excellence throughout the range. The ferrules of each rod were selected for their performance characteristics based on the tool's application. Seaguide and Fuji Alconite guides ensure lightness and durability, Seaguide reel seats perfectly match the traditional cork handles, and each rod comes with a velvet bag. All models are available in three or four sections for convenient transport.
