The new Emblem in the Surfcasting version confirms the winning formula of the previous model, further improving both the build quality and the look. Both the body and rotor are made from the innovative ZAION V material: a carbon-based composite that is lighter and more resistant than traditional materials and completely corrosion-free. The weight of the new Emblem is reduced by 25 grams compared to the previous generation. The new 45-size spool is Ultra Long Cast with a Shallow profile (0.30-300 m), facilitating the use of thin lines to maximize casting distance. A second Long Cast spool with greater capacity (0.35 – 300 m) is supplied as standard. The winding system benefits from the proven Slow Cross Wrap technology, slow winding with cross wraps that ensures optimal line lay.
The new Emblem is also equipped with a hollow Air Bail type bail arm, while the drag is a new generation QD, more adjustable and precise than before.
Daiwa's patented Magsealed technology, a special magnetized oil membrane, protects the internal mechanics from the corrosive action of saltwater, an important feature for prolonged use in marine environments.
