Stella is the most advanced SHIMANO spinning reel ever made. Equipped with a remarkable amount of new technologies, the Stella reaches new heights of excellence and offers unmatched performance for anglers who want the best.
If you are the type of angler who wants the best, without compromise, the latest version of the Stella is the only plausible choice. Building on its iconic status, Stella has undergone an evolutionary redesign with a new range of technologies. These developments are a work of engineering genius and affect virtually every part of the reel, including the gears, line management, and durability. These innovations will make your fishing more efficient, more effective, and ultimately more enjoyable. SHIMANO calls it 'Infinity Evolution'... but for anglers worldwide it will simply be known as Stella.
Fishing with the Stella is an unforgettable experience, enhanced by the introduction of three new "Infinity" technologies. InfinityXross offers an even more durable construction than the acclaimed Hagane technology. This provides greater longevity, especially under extreme pressure, resulting in an increased reel lifespan. InfinityLoop is an ultra-slow spool oscillation, with improved line lay. This significantly reduces line friction during casting, delivering better casting performance. InfinityDrive produces powerful yet smooth rotation, especially under heavy loads. In extreme situations, it is still possible to maintain consistent and lasting starting pressure.
For hassle-free line management, a completely new feature called Anti-Twist Fin has been developed, which controls the pressure on the line passing through the line guide roller to the spool. And if all this is not enough, there is a new drag system called Duracross that offers better smoothness, durability, and power. The Stella is available in 12 models to cover all uses and preferences and is also safe for saltwater.
Stella – the pinnacle of engineering achievement, for anglers who want the best.
