It is easy to mix, binds well to a Method Feeder, and breaks down quickly, all depending on the ingredients used. The fine fishmeal particles create an inactive mix when moistened, perfect for rapid bait breakdown around the hook. It can also be rolled into balls or used as slop in a cup.

Mixing Guidelines
F1 groundbait is simple to mix. Empty the 2 kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2-liter worm tub with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then let it rest for 30 minutes during which the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. Then, for best results; to remove any lumps and create a uniform consistency, sieve the groundbait and it is ready to use.
When fishing, sun and wind can dry the groundbait a little; to counter this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it dries out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
