Used by many of the best anglers in the United Kingdom, this groundbait can be used for a wide range of purposes. Made with high-quality expander pellets, slowly ground to create a very consistent fine mix. Due to the fine particles, when delivered with a catapult, it creates a cloud that sinks slowly, attracting fish in the area without satiating them. Thanks to its fine texture, it binds well, so it can also be used to create balls or to build a persistent scent carpet along the margins. Lee Kerry (England International) states that "Crushed Expanders are my secret; I use this mix to feed the margins or add it to other groundbaits when fishing in open waters; it is like the brown crumb in fishmeal groundbaits, a must to add!"
Preparation guide: The Supercrush Expander can be prepared in different ways. For most fishing situations, pour the 2 kg bag of groundbait into a suitably sized bucket, add 2 pints of water (0.9L), and mix the compound. Wait 30 minutes to allow the particles to fully absorb the water used. For best results, pass the groundbait through a sieve to remove any lumps and give the mixture a homogeneous consistency. However, if you want to create a soft ball that releases a descending trail, continue adding water until the right consistency is reached. When fishing on hot or windy days, be careful of the compound drying out; protect your groundbait with a bait mat and occasionally check its consistency. Add a minimal amount of water as needed to restore the moisture level to an optimal state.
