Maggot Fishmeal is one of our most popular groundbaits. Knowing that maggots have always been one of the best baits, we have exploited their high attractant power to create a versatile and highly effective groundbait. The maggots we use for the preparation of Maggot Fishmeal come from the bluebottle fly. These larvae, once they reach their maximum size, undergo a dehydration process that concentrates and intensifies their flavor. This meal, with a unique smell that fish cannot resist, is added to a mixture of ground pellets, fishmeal, breadcrumbs, meat extracts, and cereals to create a multipurpose product that attracts larger specimens. Suitable for Carp, F1, Crucian Carp, Bream, Tench, and Roach. The maggot meal adds significant protein content and a distinctive odor to the groundbait, which has quickly exceeded our expectations for success! During preparation, after adding water to the mixture, you will see the pieces of larvae rehydrate, releasing all their natural attractants that fish love to feed on. Preparation guide: Maggot Fishmeal is easy to prepare. Pour the contents of the bag into a sufficiently large round bucket, add about 2 pints of water, and mix thoroughly, then let the mixture rest for 30 minutes; during this time, the water will be fully absorbed. Then, to remove any lumps and create a uniform consistency, use a groundbait sieve. When fishing on hot or windy days, be careful of the mixture drying out; protect your groundbait with a bait mat and occasionally check its consistency. If necessary, you can add a minimal amount of water to restore the moisture level to an optimal state.
